Jimmy Kimmel loves to get celebrities and sports stars to read mean tweets people post about them.
It’s usually good for a few laughs.
Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf and Lt. Gov. John Fetterman gave it a try in a video tweeted Monday morning. The video can be found in the tweet above.
“Happy #Festivus!,” Wolf tweeted. “@JohnFetterman joined me to read some of the grievances you’ve aired with us on Twitter.”
Wolf said they didn’t do feats of strength this year because “I didn’t want to embarrass John in front of the entire commonwealth.”
Instead, the pair read tweets about Fetterman’s wardrobe, his resemblance to Bigfoot and his height. Wolf was blasted for his lack of hair, his liberal stances and one said he was the state’s “worst governor ever.”
Truth be told, the tweets weren’t very mean, and even Wolf wonders about that in the outtakes. But the readings and responses are humorous.
