Shots fired leads to crash involving group of people leaving basketball game in McKeesport

Police said shots being fired led to a crash in McKeesport that ended with two people injured, including a 16-year-old girl.The incident happened a little after 8:45 p.m. Tuesday on the 900 block of Washington Street.Allegheny County police said the victims had just left a basketball game at McKeesport High School in a Dodge Charger when two people in a black SUV began following them onto Washington Street.Police said people in the black SUV began firing shots at the Dodge Charger and as the driver of the Charger tried to get away, he crashed into a utility pole, causing that vehicle to roll over.A 16-year-old girl, a 15-year-old girl and a 26-year-old man in the Dodge Charger were taken to the hospital.The 16-year-old girl was listed in critical condition.The 40-year-old driver of the Dodge Charger was not hurt.Police said all of the injuries were related to the crash and that no one was hit by the gunfire. Police have not identified any suspects or determined the motive for the shooting.
