A man is under arrest more than one month after a deadly crash in Whitehall.Victoria Verscharen, 23, died after a crash on Brownsville Road on Dec. 15.Police say her boyfriend, 24-year-old Tyler DeGraffenreid, was the driver and is responsible.According to court paperwork, he admitted to police that he was drinking over a 9-hour period, and at one point he smoked marijuana. Police say his blood alcohol content was .205 — more than twice the legal limit. DeGraffenreid is being held in the Allegheny County Jail.He faces multiple charges, including homicide by vehicle while driving under the influence. Previous story below.
