Pennsylvania is getting a lot of Tim McGraw in 2020, and we’re not mad about it.
The country singer announced the dates for his new “Here on Earth” tour this week, and of the 30 shows that made the cut, Pennsylvania will be hosting the superstar three times this year.
McGraw’s first stop in Pennsylvania will be on July 12 at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Wilkes-Barre. Then, on July 31, he’ll head over to Burgettstown’s S&T Bank Music Park near Pittsburgh.
The last show in Pennsylvania will be at Philadelphia’s Citizens Bank Park on Sept. 12, and it will even include a special guest performer — Luke Combs, the man named “Vocalist of the year” at the CMAs in November.
Tickets go on sale starting Jan. 24 at megaticket.com as part of Live Nation’s “Country Megaticket.” Country duo Brooks & Dunn, who announced their Reboot 2020 Tour, are part of the Megaticket promotion.
“Anyone who knows me knows how much I love to be outside in the summertime playing music,” McGraw said in a statement. “Everyone is there, sharing the moment, having fun and letting loose. To be here on Earth in this moment, together, sharing our love for music and getting through all that life is throwing us – that’s what it’s all about.”
