South Philadelphia Community, Businesses Unveil Plans To Save Hoa Binh Plaza

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — A South Philadelphia neighborhood and some businesses are trying to save their market. Plans to save Hoa Binh Plaza were unveiled at a block party at the supermarket located at 16th and Washington Streets, Sunday morning.

The plaza opened in 1990 but late last year, tenants said they received eviction notices.

But Hoa Binh’s businesses were allowed more time to stay until the end of April.
