Police investigating after 4-year-old swept underwater in Connoquenessing Creek

A 4-year-old boy was swept underwater Monday evening while playing in a swimming hole in Connoquenessing Creek, police have confirmed.According to police, the boy was playing with his siblings in the water and was swept under by the current.Police said he was unresponsive when first responders arrived on the scene near Kauffman Drive.The boy was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital, then flown to UPMC Children’s Hospital.
