UPDATE: Missing Butler County woman has been found alive. Volunteers who were near her home said she came walking out of the woods. Butler Police are searching for a missing woman.24-year-old Brittany Omstead of Clearfield Township was last seen at 10:45 a.m. Friday. Omstead’s vehicle was found at her home, along with her cell phone and car keys.”She had to set up for a wedding and she was supposed to be in a wedding today and she didn’t show up yesterday to decorate or the rehearsal dinner and that’s what made me come look for her,” said Omstead’s mother, Maria. “I just want to find her.”Hundreds of volunteers on horseback, ATV’s and foot searched two Butler County properties on Saturday. State police also searched Omstead’s Moran Road home.”She’s so strong and… she wouldn’t just not show up to anything. She’s out there somewhere,” said her sister, Sarah. “We’re not going to stop. We’re going to find her.”The investigation is ongoing, and police ask anyone with information to contact PSP Butler at 724-284-8100. “If anyone has see anything yesterday please call, driving by 422 and Moran Road, just please notify (police) if they saw anything suspicious,” said her mother.
