The family of two victims of the Tree of Life Synagogue shooting is suing the National Rifle Association.The lawsuit is against the NRA, gunmaker “Colt’s Manufacturing Company,” and the accused shooter.Marc Simon filed the lawsuit on behalf of his parents Sylvan and Bernice Simon.Both were killed in the 2018 shooting.According to the lawsuit, Simon argues the NRA’S “inflammatory rhetoric” led to the deadly shooting. The lawsuit claims the accused gunman Robert Bowers “was not born fearing and hating Jews.” It claims the gun lobby “taught him to do that.”
